This is not for everyone or for every piano.  We have done and continue to do all kinds of repairs and rebuilding since 1986. This is where we pursue our artistry and craft to the highest levels possible for select pianos and clients.  ​

• Musicians that want to “dial -in” a very specific instrument to a very specific performance outcomes
• Collectors who want to have a  unique “one-of-a-kind” musical work of art
• Those who want to recover, experience and preserve a piece of history for sentimental reasons to experience musical performance in an “authentic” time specific way

Surprisingly, this is a cost effective solution to expensive tastes! Instead of building these pianos “on-spec” we involve you in the process right from the beginning.

The advantage:

• We can shape your dream piano any way you like both cosmetically and in terms of musical performance
• Since you are investing in the project, as it unfolds, we are able to pass on savings to you
• This approach is a surprisingly great investment for collectors or for musicians who require a piano that sells new for over $100K
• Projects often work out for less than 50% of the new price of the same instrument.  Of course, that depends how crazy you want to get with your vision for the instrument. But that is up to you!

You may have a piano or one in mind.  We also have rebuilding “shells” available. Typically, our “shells” will include Steinway & Sons, Mason & Hamlin and various European brands. Shells are select years of premium piano brands, in any condition, where everything but the basic structure will be replaced  They typically start at 10k. If we don’t have what you are looking for we can find it! 

Though our extensive networks throughout North America we can find that very specific piano you are looking and work with you to create a plan culminate in the unique instrument of your dreams!
